Ah, the terrible twos.  They can get pretty rough.  But really, when you think about it, two-year-olds’ needs aren’t all that complicated.  If we, the parents, would just do exactly what they want, the twos might not be so terrible after all!  So, in order to make everything smooth and pleasant in our household, my two-year-old has helped me to create a very simple cost-benefit analysis of her most basic desires.  It just might apply to your two-year-old as well!

The results are clear: just give your two-year-old all the things.  It’s right here in the chart, and we all know that numbers don’t lie.  Good luck!

Can I get wine with sprinkles? That and some time to watch House of Cards while taking a nice bath wouldn’t be so bad. As long as someone else was walking the puppy, maybe those kids of mine… I mean come on, why not?? Oh yeah, cause I’m NOT two.
